*Tasks*

  • Design, develop, and maintain serverless microservices and scalable applications
  • Build and optimize APIs and implement messaging systems for seamless communication
  • Develop responsive user interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences
  • Ensure high-quality solutions through comprehensive testing, including unit and end-to-end testing
  • Leverage cloud platforms to build modern, scalable solutions
  • Manage and automate infrastructure as code (IaC) to streamline deployments
  • Optimize database performance, focusing on efficient design, indexing, and queries
  • Work within an Agile framework, contributing to all stages of the development lifecycle
  • Utilize collaboration tools for version control, issue tracking, and documentation

Qualifications
Must have:

  • Strong experience building serverless microservices with NodeJs and Typescript
  • Experience with REST API development and Kafka for messaging
  • Nice to have - experience with Angular 17+, RxJS
  • Proficiency in TypeScript
  • Knowledge of responsive UI development and frontend testing with Jest & Cypress
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway)
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with Terraform or AWS CDK
  • Experience managing large-scale automated infrastructure (80,000+ lines of IaC is a plus)
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
  • Understanding of schema design, indexing, and query optimization
  • Strong experience in unit testing (JUnit for backend, Jest for frontend)
  • Experience with E2E testing using Cypress
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation
  • Experience working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) development environments
  • Proficiency with GitLab for version control, Jira for issue tracking, and Confluence for documentation

  • Working hours: full time (40h); 27 vacation days

  • Language skills: business-fluent English at C1 level; German is a plus
