We are a team of over 40 product experts who work with our clients as Product Partners, supporting them proactively throughout the journey from idea to launching a product and scaling it up.

Job summary

We are looking for a smart and passionate Mid/Senior-level Full Stack Developer, in a freelancing setup,  to join our team in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. As part of the Full Stack department you will develop, deploy, and provide maintenance for Web, Mobile (Cross-Platform) and Backend software solutions.

Main activities

  • Build responsive web apps using React with Vite / / Astro and cross-platform apps using React Native.
  • Implement basic REST APIs required by the frontend using NestJS.
  • Design and implement NoSQL databases with MongoDB, or SQL databases with PostgreSQL / others using Prisma.
  • Integrate third party tools and services like Stripe, Twilio, Maps, AWS S3 etc.
  • Document APIs with tools like Postman, Swagger and curl.
  • Apply security techniques and best practices - OWASP in the development of distributed systems.
  • Use profiling tools of web and server apps like: Lighthouse, Core web vitals, Sentry, NewRelic etc.
  • Participate in code reviews, thus mentoring  junior developers
  • Contribute to improving development processes.
  • Understand client requirements, properly translate them to tasks, and build products from start to finish mostly by yourself.
  • Use Unix command line tools on macOS.

Skills

  • HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Git, Web development APIs
  • or similar (Koa), NestJS
  • SQL or NoSQL databases

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with libraries like React, NextJS, Astro, RadixUI, Shadcn UI, Tanstack, Angular, Angular Material, React Native, , NestJS, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as in a team.
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges, changing requirements (as part of an agile team) and learn quickly.
  • Having both Frontend & Backend experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience of working on a launched product.
