We are seeking a Project Manager / Scrum Master for our Technology team based in Timisoara, Romania working on a hybrid basis. 

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile development environment. As a Scrum Master they will be the guardian of the scrum process and team to enable the team to deliver value to our business and customers in a fast, predictable and sustainable way. They will also have proven experience of both waterfall and agile project management, including managing multiple projects from initiation / approval, through project planning, requirement definition, development, testing and implementation.

Core Requirements:

• 7 to 10 years of proven experience as a project manager in information technology, ideally in the financial services sector;
• 3 years of experience as a scrum master in an Agile environment, preferably managing 2 to 3 scrum teams simultaneously;
• Solid Technology background, with an understanding of software development lifecycle, development methodologies and technologies in a leadership role;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills;
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products;
• Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, transparency and leadership;
• Knowledge and experience with agile techniques –Epic, Feature and User Story definition and refinement, automated testing, continuous delivery, etc.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft technologies;
• A formal PMP/PRINCE II certification is a distinct advantage;
• A Professional Scrum Master certification;
• Experience of establishing and working in a Project Management Office environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within agreed scope and within budget;
• Developing project scope, goals and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility;
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to track progress;
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs;
• Reporting on status and escalation of risks, issues, dependencies or decisions required; to management and key project stakeholders as needed;
• Manage the relationship with the project stakeholders;
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and approvals;
• Facilitate and improve the scrum processes;
• Guide and coach the team to become self-organized;
• Ensure that the team is able to always meet their commitments and continually improve;
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency;
