What You'll Do

  • Issue invoices/self-billing documents for our clients, including producers, retailers, and recyclers.
  • Reconcile payments with booked invoices and maintain accurate client balances.
  • Perform client balance reconciliations and manage confirmations.
  • Handle credit collections and provide support on billing-related inquiries.
  • Proactively manage outstanding accounts receivable through calls and emails.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Maintain up-to-date ageing reports and apply payments, credits, and collections appropriately.
  • Monitor and report collection status to management.
  • Assist in creating and improving credit and collections processes and policies.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in Credit Collections, Accounts Receivable, or similar roles.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills — able to handle tough conversations with professionalism.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to multitask and build effective relationships across departments.
  • Experience in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, data analysis, etc).
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • A fast learner with high attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
