HR Design is recruiting for its client - the unique provider of Command-and-Control systems for the Defense and Homeland Security Market and software solutions integrator, from Bucharest - a Middle/Senior .NET Frontend Software Developer

We encourage you to apply if you meet the following criteria:

  • you demonstrate experience in understanding and having an overview of the projects you have worked on, not just specific tasks
  • you have technical and non-technical communication skills (up to the level of business analyst/solution architect) with the client's representatives
  • you are proactive in identifying specific problems and propose solutions, like introducing relevant functionalities for application development
  • you have the capability to analyze technical standards in order to be able to design and implement solutions which are compliant with these standards
  • you prefer to have autonomy in project execution
  • you have curiosity and a desire for professional development, with a view towards a Product Owner role
  • you like to work on site and be employed with a permanent contract (CIM)

All the above will enable you to:

1/ focus on User Interface and User Experience, acting as part of a development team to design, implement and document software functionalities for BC2A Software suite applications (based on NATO/military standards), in line with internal engineering and quality procedures

2/ capture & analyze contract and project requirements

3/ apply software design principles and work with Marketing/Product Owner, by designing of new products architecture

4/ perform complex work in research, design and development of new or existing products, tools and processes - all required for the operation, maintenance and testing of products

5/ implement new functionalities on existing products by developing new user-facing features and by modifying existing software packages to fit unique beneficiary needs

6/ optimize UI features on existing applications in order to provide a better user experience

7/ maintain and troubleshoot existing products

Therefore, it is mandatory to have these technical skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science or similar, with minimum 5 years' experience
  • Windows desktop UI frameworks: (primarily) WPF and WinForms
  • Solid portfolio of attractive/well-designed user interfaces

as well as:

  • Programming concepts (OOP, SOLID)
  • C# programming language
  • Microsoft .NET Framework
  • SOAP/REST/WCF, WebAPI
  • Experience working with TFS/GIT for version control
  • Capability to analyze technical standards, to be able to design & implement compliant solutions
