Description & Requirements
Who we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience with at least one relevant project using one or more ETL instruments specific to SAP ETL Data Migration:

• Advanced Data Migration (ADM) or Advanced Data Migration or Management (ADMM) by Syniti, preferably ADMM (hands on experience)

• SQL Server (SSMS)
• Data Migration Cockpit, LTMC, LTMOM
• SAP Data Services (BODS), Information Steward
• SAP SDI
• LSMW

• Power Query

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. SAP certification in Data Migration or on any SAP modules is highly desirable.

Nice to have:

• Participation in all phases, of at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP ETL implementations with at least one relevant on the above tools (hands on experience).
• Certifications in Data Migration area: SAP C_DS_42, Syniti Advanced Data Migration (ADM)/ Advanced Data Migration or Management (ADMM)
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA

Your future role

• Drive the full development cycle of complex Data Migration objects.
• Architect, model, design and build end-to-end modern Data Migration solutions.
• Drive change by staying up to date with the latest tools and technologies.
• Data Migration Planning: Develop comprehensive data migration strategies, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data migration scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Data Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of legacy systems and SAP environments to identify data sources, gaps, and inconsistencies. Ensure data quality standards are met.
• Data Mapping & Transformation: Create and maintain data mapping documents, defining the relationship between source and target data fields. Design and implement data transformation logic to meet SAP data structures.
• Data Extraction: Extract data from legacy systems using appropriate tools and methods. Validate extracted data against business requirements.
• Data Loading: Execute data loading processes into SAP systems, ensuring data is accurately and completely transferred. Monitor data load performance and resolve issues as they arise.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy post-migration. Work with functional teams to execute data validation test cases.
• Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data migration issues in collaboration with technical and functional teams. Ensure all issues are documented and resolved in a timely manner.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation for all data migration processes, including ETL scripts, data mapping, and issue resolution logs.
• Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the data migration process.
• Compliance: Ensure that data migration processes comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
