Teacher of Physics and Maths

The Royal School in Transylvania seeks an outstanding Teacher of Physics and Maths to immediate start. 

Nestled deep in the heart of Transylvania in northern Romania, the Royal School is a small, community orientated school situated in the city of Cluj-Napoca. Offering a high-quality British education since its founding in 2015, we are proud to support a multinational student population of just over 300 students. Since it opened its doors the school has always aimed to offer and implement a comprehensive learning experience, by reaching and sustaining a strong balance between academic achievement and social, emotional, physical and spiritual development. We strive towards helping students become the best versions of themselves as they can The Royal School teaches the Cambridge Curriculum with students working towards either the Primary/Secondary Checkpoints, IGCSE's, or International AS/A Levels. It is currently one of the only schools in the region that offers the Cambridge Early Years, all the way through to the A Level programme. 

The Royal School in Transylvania is a COBIS (Council of British International Schools) Accredited Member and authorised by ARACIP (Agenția Română de Asigurare a Calității în Învățământul Preuniversitar). It is currently in the opening stages of starting its journey to become a BSO school. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young people across the Mathematics and Science  departments,
• Experience of teaching Mathematics and/or Sciences.
• Enthusiasm and desire to contribute outstanding academic outcomes for all,
• The ability to work in a cooperative manner as part of an international staff body.
