Program Overview
This full-time, 12-month program is designed to provide hands-on experience in contract administration and execution operations. Trainees will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to international trade practices, contract lifecycle management, and logistics coordination.
Key Responsibilities
As a trainee, you'll support the Contracts & Execution Operations team by:
- Creating, reviewing, and updating sales and purchase contracts and addendums
- Managing contract documentation: registration, archiving, and follow-up
- Ensuring contracts comply with legal terms, shipping standards, and internal procedures
- Tracking contract status, delivery schedules, and shipment timelines
- Communicating with clients, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth execution
- Handling trade documents like invoices, shipping papers, and certificates
- Monitoring payments, collections, and compliance with trade regulations
- Maintaining accurate records and databases for contracts and shipments
- Supporting audits with relevant documentation and reports
- Helping improve contract processes and systems for better efficiency
- Preparing reports and summaries for management
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues and meet deadlines
- Assisting with training and feedback to improve contract administration quality
Requirements & Skills
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 1–2 years of experience in contracts, logistics, or commodity trading (preferred but not mandatory)
- Holds a degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field
- Understands basic legal and shipping terms (Incoterms, GAFTA, FOSFA, CP clauses)
- Communicates clearly and professionally in English;
- Is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Works well in a team and builds positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Is proactive, responsible, and comfortable solving problems independently
- Has solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams); experience with ERP or trading systems is a bonus
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment and is eager to learn
