Senior Data Architect

As a Senior Data Architect (m/f/d) at Skaylink, you will play a key role in designing modern data platforms. You will work closely with our customers to develop robust, future-proof architectures and ensure that data is both available and usable.

What You Do With Us

• You will be responsible for the architecture of modern data platforms (e.g. based on Snowflake), from conception to implementation.
• You will take the technical lead in delivery projects, including architecture reviews, test strategies, and rollout planning.
• You will analyse existing system landscapes, identify risks, and define viable migration and integration strategies.
• You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to consolidate business and technical requirements, particularly in the areas of reporting, data integration, and cloud platforms.
• You will also define requirements relating to security, compliance and data governance.

When you fit in with us

• You have several years of experience in data architecture, cloud data platforms or data engineering.
• You are familiar with Snowflake, dbt, AWS Glue, Redshift, Fivetran and Airflow, and have used these tools in previous projects.
• You have a good understanding of data warehouse systems, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration.
• You are experienced in moderating workshops and aligning the requirements of different stakeholders.
• You can communicate confidently in German and English, both within the team and with customers.
