Job role

We are hiring a talented Accountant to join our team in Bucharest office. The role is part of Bucharest Financial Hub which provides day to day and month end closing accounting support for Allianz entities.

What you will do

• Prepare tax declarations.
• Make payments related to tax declarations.
• Reconcile balance accounts related to tax.
• Justify Balance Sheet accounts including suspense accounts.
• Perform Monthly and Quarterly Closings.
• Work in conjunction with auditors (internal and external).
• Coordinates with other departments in improving processes as well as takes part in projects including tax related projects. 

What you bring

• Independent and intrinsically motivated; strong organizational skills, with ability to work on own initiative, adaptable.
• Analytical skills for understanding the logic behind the figures and the trends in the figures.
• Outstanding analytical skills with ability to analyse complex data / information from multiple sources.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong judgement, investigation skills and quantitative and analytical skills.

You have

• University Degree (preferably Accounting, Economics or Finance).
• Strong accounting skills. IFRS 17 and insurance accounting skills are a plus.
• SAP Knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Office (primarily Excel).
• Fluent in English. French knowledge is a plus.
