This industry-specific experience is crucial to understanding the technical standards, production workflows, and operational requirements of our projects.The M&P Project Engineer is responsible for leading engineering project implementation, controlling project budgets, and ensuring timelines are met. The role requires close coordination across multiple teams and disciplines to deliver successful project execution in line with technical standards, cost efficiency, and organizational goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and handle detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and alignment with project objectives.Provide technical guidance, review engineering designs, and address technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.Serve as the main point of contact between contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to maintain alignment and smooth project execution.Ensure adherence to JTI standards, safety protocols, and quality regulations through regular inspections and risk assessments.Lead project execution efforts, supervise progress against defined milestones, and implement timely adjustments to keep the project on track and within budget.Who We Are Looking For – RequirementsGraduate of a high technical school or equivalent qualification in engineering.Minimum 5 years of engineering project experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for candidates from the tobacco/cigarette manufacturing sector.Experience working with Make & Pack (M&P) processes or within a similar M&P project management environment is highly desirable.Proficient in English (spoken and written), Romanian is a plusOther Skills And KnowledgeProficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.Basic knowledge of local IT networks and peripheral equipment.Strong organizational and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.All applications will be reviewed.
