About us:
Today's world is crime-riddled. Criminals are everywhere, invisible, virtual and sophisticated. Traditional ways to prevent and investigate crime and terror are no longer enough…
Technology is changing incredibly fast. The criminals know it, and they are taking advantage. We know it too.
For nearly 30 years, the incredible minds at Cognyte around the world have worked closely together and put their expertise to work, to keep up with constantly evolving technological and criminal trends, and help make the world a safer place with leading investigative analytics software solutions.
We are defined by our dedication to doing good and this translates to business success, meaningful work friendships, a can-do attitude, and deep curiosity.
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the next generation of user experience across our product suite. In this role, you will act as both the voice of the customer and drive a UX transformation that improves usability, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
You will partner closely with our product design leader and work with customers, partners, designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams. You will define and drive the execution of the UX strategy, ensuring design excellence is delivered in alignment with business goals, market needs, and the complex operational environments of law enforcement and intelligence organizations.
As a Cognyter you will:
- UX Strategy & Vision: Own and define the product vision for the next generation of user experience, ensuring alignment with company strategy and customer needs.
- Customer & Market Insights: Collect and synthesize external and internal feedback, capturing critical use cases and pain points. Conduct in-depth customer discovery and validation sessions to ensure solutions solve real-world problems.
- Competitive Intelligence: Perform ongoing market research and competitive analysis to benchmark against similar and competing products, identifying opportunities for differentiation.
- Customer Environment Understanding: Deeply understand customer operational models, ecosystems, and regulatory frameworks to ensure the product design supports compliance and seamless integration.
- Roadmap Ownership: Define, prioritize, and maintain the UX roadmap, balancing strategic initiatives with tactical improvements. Translate feedback and research into clear product requirements.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with UX design, engineering, QA, product marketing, and sales to deliver roadmap items on time and at high quality. Act as the bridge between strategy and execution.
- Go-To-Market Leadership: Partner with product marketing to shape messaging, demos, and enablement for the reimagined UX. Lead customer-facing sessions to communicate the vision, gather feedback, and drive adoption.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate priorities, tradeoffs, and progress to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements:
For that mission you'll need:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within enterprise, cybersecurity, or B2G industries.
- Proven track record of driving UX/UI transformations or redesign initiatives in partnership with design teams for complex products.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into actionable insights.
- Experience conducting customer discovery sessions, usability testing, and validation workshops.
- Deep understanding of enterprise/mission-critical environments; familiarity with regulated industries is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to articulate vision and motivate diverse stakeholders.
- Strong execution skills: able to balance strategic vision with hands-on delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- Experience as user or developer of product for LEA or Intelligence agencies – Advantage
What's in it for you?
- Opportunity to shape the future of mission-critical products used globally by law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
- Collaborative environment with UX, product, and engineering leader
- Competitive compensation, benefits, and career growth opportunities.
