Job Description:The Business Developer plays a vital role in executing our growth strategy within the Transylvania Region, with a particular focus on the key logistics regions - of Central & West Transylvania. Reporting directly to the Business Development Director (BDD), this position combines client relationship management, strategic business planning, and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the real estate market, particularly logistics and industrial sectors, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.
The Business Developer plays a crucial role in supporting the RBDD in identifying, pursuing, and securing business opportunities that contribute to the company's growth in the logistics and industrial real estate sectors. This includes expanding the client base, strengthening existing relationships, and ensuring the efficient operation and marketability of assets within the regional portfolio
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and addressing emerging needs or concerns.
- Proactively monitor client engagement and follow up on outstanding issues in collaboration with the Property Management team.
- Maintain a deep understanding of client operations to anticipate retention, expansion, or renewal opportunities.
- Business Growth & Leasing Activities
- Identify and engage new prospects to grow the client portfolio.
- Support leasing and offering processes by gathering and preparing relevant data, coordinating presentations and proposals, and organizing site visits.
- Assist in drafting, amending, and finalizing lease agreements and related documentation.
- Actively work to prevent vacancies and fill existing ones, focusing on tenant retention, portfolio optimization, and the attraction of new tenants.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with brokers, agents, property managers, and other external partners to support business development initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal departments (especially Construction, Property, and Controlling) to align on client status, leasing terms, and ongoing needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in departmental tools (e.g., leasing plans, land bank data, rent rolls, CRM systems, development pipelines).
- Marketing & Events
- Organize and support client engagement events, trade fairs, and industry conferences.
- Collaborate on marketing and PR initiatives to enhance visibility and promote the regional portfolio.
- Other Duties
- Represent the company at local and national real estate events, as needed.
- Travel within the regional portfolio to conduct site visits and attend client meetings.
