How you will contribute

You will be involved in the structuring and execution of complex lending transactions focused on customized financing solutions for energy industry, pure project finance investments and for leveraged finance acquisitions.

  • Participate together in client meetings and interviews to thoroughly understand the business model, the investment projects and the financing need;
  • Lead and participate in structuring and negotiating financing offers for the pursued deals;
  • Design and create proficient financial models;
  • Prepare indicative Head of Terms, Term sheets, credit applications and presentations;
  • Lead RFP processes for contracting independent Due Diligence with third parties specific for each deal;
  • Lead and participate in internal greenlight and approval processes, both in BCR and in Erste Holding;
  • Contribute in the documentation negotiation and closing, as well as in the subsequent specific Project Finance / Leveraged Finance conditions monitoring for the deals in the allocated portfolio;
  • Perform industry researches and market analyses either as part of a specific deal or for internal knowledge build-up;
  • Prepare qualitative pitching proposals for the potential corporate customers/ private equity/ project sponsors in collaboration with the Corporate Coverage / Syndication/ Erste Holding colleagues.

What will help you be successful

  • University / Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics or other quantitative degree;
  • CFA/ ACCA qualification or in progress is appreciated;
  • 5 years of relevant experience in Project/ Leveraged/Structured Finance, Corporate Finance or BIG 4 advisory units;
  • Solid knowledge in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written);
  • Demonstrated experience in financing Renewable Energy, successful closed transactions;
  • Excellent analytical, financial analysis, financial modelling, business writing and communication skills;
  • Focused, determined, performance driven and solution oriented;
  • Self-organized and able to work either independently or to collaborate in various project team set-ups.
