As a Financing Intern at Enery, you will support our team in structuring and executing financings that drive renewable energy projects forward. Your work will include building and updating financial models, performing analysis for presentations and investment materials, and assisting with due diligence, market research, and documentation.
This role offers a hands-on opportunity to apply your financial skills in a dynamic, sustainability-focused company and gain experience across the full financing process while contributing to the clean energy transition.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain complex financial models, ensuring accuracy and transparency, and collaborate with other analysts in the process
- Perform numerical analysis for presentations, investment memoranda, and other materials related to financings processes with banks and other financing parties
- Support the execution of project and structured financings from start to finish
- Work with advisors to consolidate and critically assess input for financial models and valuations
- Manage due diligence processes for financing transactions
- Conduct market research to support financing activities
- Contribute to the negotiation and execution of financing documentation
- Manage the Q&A process and provide additional support during due diligence
- Assist the Financing team with financial analysis and budgeting
Key Requirements
- Master's student or graduate in Economics or Finance, with an excellent academic track record
- Previous experience (at least internships) in project financing/structured finance (investment fund, bank, or other financial institution) and/or consultancy (valuation, transaction services, debt advisory) is required. Experience in investment banking/M&A/valuation within an investment fund, bank, or consultancy may also be considered
- Strong quantitative skills, including extensive experience in building end-to-end financial models and applying valuation techniques (e.g., DCF
- Experience in project financing is an advantage
- Experience in the renewable power industry is an advantage
- Highly organized with strong process management skills
