The main objective of the position is to support the non-fuel activities related to category management.
Location: Bucharest

The Master Data Specialist will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and management of key data across our systems. This includes working closely with cross functional teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.

Data Management and Maintenance:

• Create, validate, and maintain master data (e.g. product, vendor, pricing data) in SAP based on Group policy. This includes working closely with cross functional teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.

• Create and maintain product database with all dimensions and images for all active items

• Conduct regular data cleansing, standardization and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

• Identify and resolve data discrepancy and data quality issues promptly.

• Ensure data changes follow established policies and procedures for approvals

• Maintain documentation related to master data definitions and data flows.
Data Governance:

• Support the development and enforcement of data policies and standards.

• Act as a data ambassador by prompting and ensuring compliance and quality initiatives.

• Provide training to employees (including new staff) on data management practices and tools. Serve as a point of contact for master data inquiries.

• Collaborate with IT and other departments (to integrate master data across applications and platforms)
Monitoring and Reporting:

• Monitor and report on data quality KPI's and metrics

• Identify areas for improvement and proactively recommend solutions to enhance data accuracy and usability

• Error analysis and subsequent correction in master data.

• Participate in testing and development of new tools and reports in support of data quality

To be successful in the role, you should have:

• University degree

• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience

• Analyzing skills

• Having initiative, self-organized, fast-learning, flexible

• Customer and result orientation

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, SAP knowledge will be an advantage

• Proficient English
