About the role

We're looking for a product‑minded Frontend Developer who lives and breathes React and React Native. You'll build polished, accessible UIs for web and mobile, collaborate closely with Design and Product, and ship features that make urban mobility simpler and more reliable for millions of riders.

What you'll do

• Ship features across web and mobile: responsive web UIs in and native experiences in React Native.
• Own the frontend lifecycle: plan, estimate, implement, test, document, release, and monitor.
• Collaborate on API contracts: work with backend engineers to shape clean, well‑typed REST endpoints.
• Elevate quality: write unit/integration tests, participate in reviews, and improve CI/CD for frontends.
• Optimize performance: rendering, bundle size, memory, startup time, and network use (offline and low‑connectivity scenarios).
• Design systems: contribute to/shared components, Storybook, design tokens, accessibility (WCAG), and UX consistency.
• Telemetry & reliability: add logging, metrics, and error boundaries to keep apps stable in production.

You'll thrive here if you have

• 3–6+ years building production apps with TypeScript and modern React.
• Strong web fundamentals (HTML, CSS/Tailwind, responsive layout) and (routing, data fetching, SSR/SSG basics).
• React Native experience (navigation, native modules/bridges basics, app signing & store delivery).
• Solid state management (React Query, Redux/Zustand, or similar) and forms/validation.
• Experience with testing (Jest, React Testing Library), linting/formatting, and CI/CD for web/mobile.
• Comfortable reading API docs, collaborating on schemas, and handling auth flows (tokens/OAuth).

Nice to have

• Performance profiling (React Profiler, Flipper), crash reporting, and analytics.
• Real‑time features (WebSockets) and background sync on mobile.
• Experience with maps/geo, offline‑first patterns, or accessibility audits.
• Familiarity with E2E tests (Playwright/Detox) and feature flagging/experimentation.
