Role Overview

We are looking for a
Senior Java Developer
to take a
technical leadership role
in our backend team. The ideal candidate combines hands-on Java development experience with strong AWS knowledge, leadership capabilities, and proactive communication skills. You will lead by example, guiding a team of developers and ensuring code quality, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of backend developers.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using
    Spring Boot
    and
    Hibernate/JPA
    .
  • Support
    3rd level operations
    and participate in
    on-call rotation
    (1 week every 5–6 weeks).
  • Manage AWS infrastructure components (VPC, ECS, Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Drive CI/CD automation and DevOps best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using
    Scrum
    and
    Agile methodologies
    .
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables through
    code reviews
    ,
    testing
    , and
    clean code principles
    .

Technical Requirements

Must-have:

  • 5+ years in Java backend development (Java 17 or later)
  • Deep expertise in
    Spring Boot
    ,
    Hibernate/JPA
    ,
    REST APIs
    ,
    SQL
    , and
    Git
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    AWS services
  • Proven ability to design and implement
    microservices
    architecture
  • AWS Developer Associate Certification
    .
  • Solid understanding of unit and integration testing
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools

Should-have:

  • Extended CI/CD experience.
  • Knowledge of
    Terraform
    ,
    Clean Architecture
    , and
    OpenTelemetry
    .
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as
    Grafana
    ,
    Prometheus
    , or
    Splunk
