Our client, a global renewable energy developer is seeking an experienced Senior Solar Project Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale photovoltaic projects in Romania.

You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from site establishment through to final completion - ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

As a key member of the project delivery team, you will act as the bridge between the EPC contractor and the project sponsor, coordinating stakeholders, engineering revisions, budget control, and construction supervision.

You will also interact directly with utilities, authorities, landlords, and subcontractors to secure interconnections, permitting, and compliance while maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead and manage all phases of solar PV projects, from development and construction through to commissioning and closure.


• Coordinate and supervise EPC contractors, ensuring construction activities meet approved designs and quality standards.


• Manage project engineering revisions and oversee budget control, including cash flow management.


• Secure network connections by working directly with utilities and monitoring compliance with technical standards.


• Supervise subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.


• Liaise with local stakeholders including landlords, EPC companies, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution.


• Coordinate logistics for materials supplied by Econergy and manage on-site delivery schedules.


• Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, identifying critical paths and milestones.


• Ensure full compliance with permitting, interconnection requirements, and regulatory frameworks.


• Proactively identify project risks, implementing preventive and corrective measures to minimize disruptions.


• Prepare and deliver periodic project status reports to Econergy's Board of Directors.
