Job Description
Full Time 40 hours per week, 9401 RON per month (5500 Net) + staff benefits.
Deal Origination is the first step in the process of acquiring a company. Working with one of the UK's best recognised M&A firms, you will be part of our research team at our office in Cluj, Romania.
An ideal starting point to your M&A career, this role offers the opportunity for promotion to become a Deal Leader, which is a role specialising in putting together M&A transactions for international clients.
This is an English-speaking role and business will be conducted in English.

The idea candidate will be interested in M&A, business acquisitions, and learning about the process of acquiring companies on behalf of clients. This is a relationship focused role where much of your time will be spent on the phone, building relationships, and encouraging prospects to consider an acquisition.
Our growing business specialises in buy side M&A advisory, advising on deals as far away as the US, London and Singapore.
As one of our team you'll have the opportunity to work within a corporate setting with occasional international travel.
Working closely with our deal team you'll have the opportunity to learn from our most senior and experienced staff.
Responsibilities
:
- Daily Outbound calling to shortlisted businesses to source acquisition targets
- Documenting financial characteristics of the target businesses
- Booking follow up appointments with our senior advisers
- Supporting the deal team by updating our database and lists of target businesses
Skill Set Required:
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Positive attitude and self-motivated
- You are a confident outgoing individual who is comfortable speaking on the phone
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written are essential
- Computer literacy is required, with experience of using a suite of software packages such as; (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, (desirable HubSpot CRM))
- Attention to detail and understanding of basic financial numbers
- Experienced in a telesales, telemarketing, sales role is a plus
