Drive the development, procurement, and performance of the wine product category, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and customer demands, while maintaining product quality and supplier relationships.

Preferred Qualifications & Profile:

  • Experience in procurement for minimum 5 years.
  • Strong knowledge of wine varieties, certifications, and market dynamics.
  • Analytical mindset with commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the category strategy, aligning with company goals and market trends.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, product innovations, and customer feedback specific
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers; build long-term relationships with strategic suppliers.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and design teams to define packaging, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Track product lifecycle and propose actions for slow-moving or high-potential items.
  • Coordinate sourcing activities and ensure alignment with quality and certification standards in wine.
  • Participate in wine fairs, tastings, and industry events to stay updated and identify opportunities.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure contract compliance.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with the Buyer for operational execution (order placement, logistics, documentation).
  • Define yearly and quarterly objectives for the wine category and monitor KPIs.
