Our customer is a top-tier investment bank with client assets of hundreds of billions globally. This project is a workflow management platform, strategic for the bank and it is used by the Private Bank division in Germany. The platform is built currently on Tibco on the BPM side and Java on the back-end services side. It receives inputs from several channels (branch applications, fax, email, paper scans, call centers, online applications) and starts automatic processes for actions like: opening / closing account, change the correspondence address, etc. The aim of the project is to migrate the existing Tibco implementation to Java open source, cloud, micro-services and a new BPM engine, Camunda. For deployment there are used Docker, OpenShift and at the later stage the aim is also to have the new platform running in Google Cloud.

Role description:


•  Act as a Business Analyst in developing new technology applications in partnership with Business and Operations stakeholders to transform the Investment Bank Operations interactions.


• Participate as an active scrum team member working alongside our business and operations users, developers, architects, UX Designers & UI Developers.


• Understand current state business process, and challenges and work with business stakeholders and operations to define strategic solutions.


• Organize working groups and provide regular updates to stakeholders on delivery status and risks


• Translate business needs: Create models, diagrams, presentations, and other documentation that support the target audience in understanding the business requirements


• Attend scrum ceremonies as required and be involved in the Product Backlog refinement sessions for defining user stories with the team.


• Agree on test scenarios and conditions for signoff with stakeholders.


• Contribute to the BA community with own experience and sharing of best practices and standards and mentor junior members.


• Able to cope with a hybrid way of working.


• 3 days/ week from the client's office in Bucharest.
