Business Analyst with Power BI

In this role, the analyst will contribute to driving improvements within Measurement and Analytical Europe, with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction, improving delivery performance, and optimizing internal business processes.

Key responsibilities include developing SQL Server database reports and tools to support decision-making and business objectives, leveraging data from Quotes, Orders, Model Configuration, and Operations across Global, European, and MSOL business applications.

Additionally, the role will provide data analysis expertise in support of the Business Analysis Manager.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• To design and develop BI reports, dashboards, critical metrics, and scorecards using SSRS, Power BI, and PowerApps.
• To build and manage SQL databases and queries to support reporting systems and application interfaces.
• To connect to and transform data from various sources for business intelligence and analysis.
• To provide data analysis expertise and create ad-hoc queries and reports on request.
• To work with business users/managers to interpret requirements and deliver practical, robust reports and applications.
• To serve as a connection between multi-functional teams, assisting with new BI requests and process improvements.
• To ensure reporting solutions are tested, documented, and delivered on time, following development standards.
• To manage workload effectively, handling multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• To support business decision-making with ad-hoc reporting, data insights, and distribution processes (including Oracle in Europe).
• To demonstrate strong teamwork, self-motivation, and analytical skills to translate data into significant insights.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• University degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering / Mathematics / Finance or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of Business Analysis, skilled in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in Power BI, including the ability to build measures and calculated columns using DAX.
• Good ability in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with multi-functional teams 
• Proficient in English.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) knowledge.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure for data storage and processing.
• Understanding relevant data governance, data quality, and data security standard processes. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
