, we are looking for a
Compliance Officer who is based in
Cluj-Napoca, Romania or Sofia, Bulgaria.

They are now seeking a Compliance Officer to shape and oversee the company's compliance strategy across multiple jurisdictions. This is a key leadership role suited for someone with deep regulatory knowledge, excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, and a proactive mindset toward risk mitigation in the fast-paced world of iGaming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with B2C iGaming regulatory frameworks, including AML/KYC, responsible gaming, and data protection (e.g., GDPR).

  • Develop and implement internal compliance policies, procedures, and risk controls aligned with local and international regulatory standards.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with licensing authorities—handling audits, reporting obligations, licensing applications, and communication.

  • Work cross-functionally with product, legal, finance, and cybersecurity teams to embed compliance into the company's operational processes.

  • Monitor, assess, and respond to regulatory changes; proactively adjust internal processes to maintain business continuity.

  • Oversee internal reviews and certifications, manage audit processes, and lead remediation efforts as needed.

  • Handle player claims, regulatory complaints, and correspondence with relevant authorities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a compliance role within the
    iGaming sector

  • Strong working knowledge of AML, KYC, GDPR, and global igaming regulations

  • Exceptional communication skills, with a solution-oriented approach.

  • Ability to distill complex regulatory language into practical internal policies and procedures.
