Your Tasks
  • Lead and oversee transport contract management activities and operations within the short-term gas segment, ensuring full compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations to effectively identify and mitigate risks, while driving the optimization of short-term gas trading performance.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of transport capacity management, including capacity booking on platforms such as RBP, PRISMA, GMOIS, and others, ensuring efficient and compliant execution of related cross-border transactions.
  • Prepare and submit all required reports to Regulatory Authorities in the markets where the company conducts short-term business activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination among all internal stakeholders to facilitate the efficient optimization of short-term transactions and transport capacity management.
  • Proactively monitor gas exchange markets and trade orders to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities, with a focus on capturing value from market spreads.
  • Contributes to departmental objectives and processes managed by the department, offering innovative solutions and improvement proposals to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Constantly monitors the development of gas markets within the EU, conducts in-depth market analysis, and generates benchmarks and periodic reports. Identifies trends and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the company's registration processes on gas exchange markets and ensure the ongoing maintenance and compliance of all mandatory documentation for existing market registrations.
  • Conducts comprehensive studies, presentations, and in-depth analysis of gas markets, monitors the strategies of key players, and generates periodic reports on the regulatory framework and markets development. Advises senior management on market dynamics and strategic implications.
Your Profile
  • Education: Master degree in Economics/Business Economics/International relations/Oil and gas engineering
  • Position-specific knowledge: In-depth expertise in the Romanian natural gas market and neighboring regional markets.
  • Expertise in interpreting and applying specific regulations in the field of natural gas.
  • Organization:Identifies and optimizes organizational and interdepartmental processes and interfaces.
  • Creates detailed work instructions for all activities performed, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Reporting:Continuously generates and updates databases to meet reporting needs for all activities.
  • Prepares high-quality reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Development: Actively participates in advanced training programs to continuously improve performance and stay up to date with industry trends.
  • Technical skills:Advanced knowledge of Excel and VBA for complex data analysis and automation.
  • Advanced English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including creating spreadsheets, tables, documents, data analysis, formulas, functions, presentations, Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft Project.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and precision in working with numbers and completing tasks.
  • Displays a high degree of professionalism and organizational skills.
