About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic
Senior Manager, Technology & Global Business Services
to lead and elevate our shared services operations in Romania. In this role, you'll oversee a wide portfolio of Technology and Corporate GBS teams—ranging from DevOps, QA and BI to SOC, IT Service Delivery and corporate support functions—while partnering with global leaders across the Reconomy Group.

You will be the driving force behind operational excellence, service quality, process optimisation, and the continuous evolution of our GBS and technology capabilities. This is a strategic role with significant impact: shaping how Reconomy scales globally, strengthening performance frameworks, and enhancing how teams collaborate across multiple regions. Key Responsibilities

Lead Global Business Services (GBS) in Romania

• Manage and develop corporate GBS functions
• Build strong collaboration with GBS peers globally
• Drive alignment of methodologies, tools, and best practices

Lead Technology Shared Services at RecoTek

• Manage DevOps, QA, BI, SOC, IT Service Delivery, Business Systems and more
• Plan future capabilities (Data Engineering, Application Development, etc.)
• Partner with Technology Resourcing to ensure capacity alignment

Operating Model & Service Transition

• Support the transition of new services into GBS
• Establish KPIs, SLAs, and performance standards
• Lead service rollout across multiple countries

Service Delivery, Process Excellence & Compliance

• Drive standardisation, automation, and optimisation
• Ensure governance, adherence to internal controls, and risk mitigation
• Manage time-keeping, utilisation, and intercompany processes

Leadership & Culture

• Develop high-performing teams
• Champion Reconomy values (Real, Inclusive, Collaborative, Inventive)
• Provide deputisation for the General Manager when required

What We're Looking For

5+ years senior leadership experience in a global/matrix organisation

Proven track record managing GBS operations

Strong background in process improvement, quality, and scaling operations

Experience transitioning work into shared service models

Strong people leadership skills, able to influence across functions

Excellent English (spoken & written)

Technical Skills

Must-have:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365
• Advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint
• Ability to quickly adopt and navigate new systems
• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Tech Ops environments

Nice-to-have:

• Power BI for reporting and insights
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CRM / Business Central
