Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt suchen wir Dich als Unterstützung im Cloud Infrastruktur Umfeld für unser hochmotiviertes Site Reliability Engineering Team bei der EDEKA IT.

In unserem Projekt-Team kümmern wir uns um Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung der Infrastruktur für die cloudbasierte Kassenlösung der über 6.000 deutschen EDEKA Märkte. Mehr als Kassen-PCs kommunizieren über eine komplexe Netzwerkinfrastruktur mit dem Cloud-Backend.

Die Cloud-Infrastruktur sowie die darin eingebetteten "Managed Services" in Azure betreuen und betreiben wir direkt innerhalb des Teams.

Die Microservices unserer Produkte laufen im Managed AKS (inkl. External DNS und CertManager) mit einem istio Service Mesh und überwacht durch Datadog. Wir setzten zudem auf Technologien wie MongoDB und Solace. Unsere Infrastruktur wird über Terraform HCL abgebildet und täglich weiterentwickelt.

Wir deployen mehrmals täglich über die von uns entwickelte CI/CD Pipeline basierend auf GitHub Actions und ArgoCD.

Wir stellen hohe Anforderungen an die Sicherheit unserer Infrastruktur und decken den kompletten Security-Stack der Infrastruktur ab.

Die Position beinhaltet einen Mix aus technologiebezogener Projektarbeit, Cloud-Infrastruktur Entwicklung, Systemintegration und Betrieb.

Wie du uns unterstützen kannst:

  • Als Teil eines 6-köpfigen Teams sicherst du die Qualität, Stabilität und Performance unserer Plattform und Services
  • Du entwickelst mit an einer skalierbaren, containerbasierten Kubernetes-MicroservicePlattform und überwachst die PaaS-, SaaS- und IaaS-Komponenten mit Tools wie z.B. Datadog
  • Du übernimmst Verantwortung im SecOps Lifecycle unserer Infrastruktur und betreibst Troubleshooting beim Auftreten von Incidents
  • Du arbeitest eng mit unseren Entwicklungsteams und weiteren Cloud-Experten zusammen
  • Du denkst userzentriert und ganzheitlich, arbeitest gerne in agilen Strukturen, lebst die SRE-Philosophie und hast Lust, dein Wissen im Team zu erweitern und zu teilen

Was du mitbringst:

  • Du hast ein Studium oder eine Ausbildung im Bereich (Wirtschafts-) Informatik oder ähnlichen Fachrichtungen erfolgreich abgeschlossen bzw. eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Begeisterung für Automatisierung und die Arbeit mit der Cloud-Infrastruktur
  • Du besitzt fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse in Microsoft Azure
  • Du hast bereit mit Infrastructure as Code gearbeitet und idealerweisen bereits Systeme mit Terraform aufgebaut
  • Du bist vertraut mit aktuellen CI/CD-Technologien
  • Du bringst Erfahrungen im produktiven Einsatz von SaaS Diensten (wie z.B. MongoDB Atlas oder Solace) mit
  • Du hast im produktiven Umfeld Erfahrungen in der Container-Orchestrierung mit Docker und Kubernetes (kubectl)
  • Netzwerke mit TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTPS und gRPC sind Dir vertraut
  • Du verfügst über fließende Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens B2)
