We're hiring: Health & Safety Specialist

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement HSE plans aligned with legal requirements, guiding managers to deliver policy, build a safety-first culture, and control risks;
  • Prepare and enforce internal policies that strengthen health & safety practices across the business;
  • Act as a
    change agent
    – drive continuous improvement and be a role model for compliance and commitment;
  • Use your HSE expertise to coach teams, support business units, and spread best practices;
  • Contribute to the rollout and promotion of our HSE strategy company-wide;
  • Assess risks by evaluating practices, procedures, and facilities, ensuring full compliance with legislation;
  • Lead engaging
    trainings and presentations
    on health, safety, and accident prevention;
  • Monitor compliance through inspections of people, processes, equipment, and operations;
  • Identify hazards and recommend proactive solutions, improvements, and preventive measures;
  • Investigate accidents/incidents to uncover root causes and handle worker's compensation claims;
  • Report on HSE performance, awareness, and safety statistics;
  • Manage and develop your direct reports, growing together as a team.


What we're looking for:

  • University degree in a technical field (Mechanical/Electrical preferred);
  • Legally required Environment & Safety qualification (Waste Management / Environmental Responsible / Fire Safety technical degree, RSVTI certification, etc.);
  • At least 5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to collect and analyze data effectively;
  • Excellent communication skills in
    both English and Romanian
    ;
  • Results-driven mindset with a proactive attitude;
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong
    team player
    ;
  • Positive influencing skills: able to persuade, align, and motivate others;
  • Passion for driving continuous improvement in processes, policies, and standards;
  • Inclusive mindset – ensuring collaboration within the HSE community and alignment across teams.
