Category Director – Cooking

Our Procurement team is expanding, and we are now looking for a
Category Director for Cooking & Tableware (Housewares)
who will contribute to the strategic development and performance of our portfolio in this division.

Main Responsibilities

• Defines and proposes the purchasing strategy for products within the Cooking & Tableware Division, aligned with the company's development objectives
• Monitors and anticipates market trends in the Cooking, Tableware, and Housewares categories, acting proactively to drive performance and category growth
• Conducts market prospecting, including commercial and delivery conditions, to improve key performance indicators (cost, quality, delivery time, availability)
• Recommends the introduction of new subcategories, brands, or product ranges, and proposes optimization of existing assortments based on market evolution and customer behavior
• Negotiates contractual terms with suppliers — manufacturers, distributors, and other commercial partners — in line with the company's strategy
• Defines and proposes pricing and promotional policies for the Cooking & Tableware category to meet customer expectations and enhance customer loyalty
• Coordinates sales and purchasing plans, ensuring alignment between market demand and supply planning
• Leads the division team, fostering trust-based relationships and ensuring excellent collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external partners

  in product management, procurement, or a technical/commercial role within the housewares, cooking, tableware, or related consumer goods industries
