About The Role

This role is an excellent starting point within the business, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to look behind the scenes of a fast-growing Language Service Provider on a hybrid basis, working 10am-7pm, Monday - Friday.

As a Booking Coordinator, based in the Operations Department, you will provide support to all areas within the business, as well as communicating with our interpreters and clients. The role offers a great opportunity to learn a wide variety of skills within a fast-paced growing area of the business.

We are looking for highly organised, self motivated, quick thinking individuals to join our successful and ever expanding team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• To manage a large amount of requests via internal platforms or email in a professional manner, booking interpreters onto relevant jobs, resolving queries and liaising with other departments
• Manage internal and external emails promptly and efficiently
• Maintaining professional communication with interpreters and clients regarding their bookings when dealing with queries
• Prioritising tasks within the team, showing organisation, quick thinking and flexibility
• Assist other departments when support is required
• Troubleshooting to ensure we provide the best possible service in unexpected scenarios
• Facilitate immediate connections for linguists to phone appointments
• Ensure timely escalation of customer and system issues to relevant departments
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing customer needs effectively
• Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance team performance
• Transfer call data between systems on a weekly/monthly basis for invoicing purposes
• Fulfil ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management ensuring satisfactory completion

About You

• Excellent English language skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience of working in fast paced, pressurised environment (essential)
• Experience of working in a customer focused environment (essential)
• Effective listening, communication, and strong negotiating skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to multitask and think critically
• Excellent attention to detail
• Can use initiative in a pro-active manner
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Can take instructions and carry out tasks efficiently and to a high standard
• Good time keeping
• Social and outgoing and easily able to build relationships
• Proficient with all facets of MS Office
• Have an eagerness to learn and develop skills
