Role: Senior SAP Platform Architect

The role:

We are looking for a Senior SAP Platform Architect for our office in VASS BRASOV, who would join a team of open-minded and personable people.

• ERP6 / EHP / Upgrades: operate and maintain ERP6; plan and execute EHP updates, SUM/DMO, patching.
• S/4HANA Conversion: Readiness Check, Simplification List, custom code remediation, SUM/DMO (downtime-optimized), cutover planning, hypercare.
• SAP PCE & Public Cloud: landscape design, connectivity (Cloud Connector, Destinations), SSO, backup/DR, operations.
• SAP BTP: architecture and governance; service selection (XSUAA, Destination, Integration Suite, Launchpad, Logging); extension models (Side-by-Side , UI5/Fiori); build & deploy pipelines (MTA/CF).
• Performance & stability: HANA sizing/tuning, job scheduling, cache/circuit breakers for external services (e.g., VIES, OpenIBAN).
• Security & access: roles/permissions (PFCG, Fiori catalogs), policies, audit, hardening.
• Automation: scripts/devops (Ansible/Terraform/CI), system copies, system refresh, task automation.
• Troubleshooting: end-to-end diagrams, RCA, runbooks, knowledge base.
• Project & stakeholder management: project planning, risk management, status reporting, coordination with functional/technical teams, knowledge transfer.

And you?

• 7–10+ years in SAP Basis/SAP Platform; 2–3+ completed S/4HANA Conversion projects.
• Hands-on experience with ERP6/EHP, SUM/DMO, S/4 on-premise / PCE, Public Cloud.
• SAP BTP hands-on: security (XSUAA), Destinations, (architectural level, code review), UI5/Fiori deployment & Launchpad.
• Integration with external services (e.g., VIES, OpenIBAN) and policies for timeouts, retry logic, observability.
• HANA operations, performance tuning, backup/DR, system landscape design.
• Advanced English

Nice-to-have

• Certifications: SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA / S/4HANA, SAP Activate.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh.
• Experience in IaC automation (Terraform) and cloud security.
• German proficiency
