Electrical Design Engineer

Bucharest | On-site | Full-time

About the Role
An international engineering group active in water and utilities infrastructure is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer for its technical team in Bucharest.

You will work on electrical design and technical coordination for complex water projects: networks, pumping stations, treatment systems and industrial installations.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical design and technical support for water infrastructure projects

Prepare and review electrical drawings, layouts, cable routing, equipment specifications and calculations

Develop single-line diagrams, cable lists, panel layouts, load calculations and BOQs

Coordinate with civil, mechanical, hydraulic and process engineering teams

Collaborate with subcontractors and international technical partners

Participate in site visits, commissioning support and as-built documentation

Ensure compliance with LV/MV standards, safety regulations and project requirements

Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)

Experience in electrical design for industrial, utilities or infrastructure projects

Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems (LV/MV) and industrial installations

Solid experience with AutoCAD (2D) + MS Office

Familiarity with ETAP, Caneco or other electrical calculation tools (major plus)

Basic understanding of SCADA/PLC (advantage)

Ability to interpret P&ID and technical drawings

English & French – mandatory

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, teamwork and communication
