Your Impact

As an Identity and Access Management Administrator/
Cloud Systems Administrator
with the Directory Services team at OpenText, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting large-scale Directory Services platforms. This role would be a great fit for someone with creative and innovative problem-solving skills. You will work with a team that manages, develops, and implements solutions that operate at scale, promote best practices and are experienced in the use of tools and solutions servicing Active Directory, Domain Name Services, Identity Management, SMTP, Cloud Infrastructure and related technologies.

The ideal candidate will be a team player, have previous experience of managing a Directory Services environment for a large organization and a sound understanding of the technologies we support.

What the role offers

  • Setup, plan, implement, maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server OS
  • Setup, plan, implement, maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory Services.
  • Setup, plan, implement, maintain and troubleshoot services such as WSUS, KMS, RDS & NTP.
  • Understand industry best practices for Patch Management (Windows and Linux) and maintain Operating System currency
  • Manage and maintain enterprise class DNS solutions using DNS vendor tools
  • Assist in planning and implementation of domain migrations and upgrades.
  • Support of cloud infrastructure, federated services and OKTA IAM.

What you need to succeed

  • 5+ years' experience in a technology driven environment
  • Strong experience with PowerShell scripting (Python scripting is considered a plus) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (OSI, TCP/IP, Firewall/Routing)
  • Strong Knowledge of Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration as well as Group Policy design and configuration
  • Understanding of virtualization and Cloud (VMware, Google Cloud, AWS, etc.)
  • Experience in managing and maintaining enterprise class DNS solutions (DNS vendors tools, such as Infoblox IPAM).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure; Google, AWS, or Azure a plus
  • Understanding and possess experience of industry best practices for Patch Management (Windows and Linux) and maintaining Operating System currency.
  • Microsoft certifications: Windows 11, Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 are considered a plus
  • Basic administration knowledge of Linux OS & Red hat satellite Capsules
  • Proven ability to manage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities.
