This role involves a skilled professional proficient in Technical Support and IT Service Management. The specialist excels in optimizing IT services using tools like ServiceNow. Their expertise spans incident and problem management, change processes, and utilization of CMDB. They possess knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and security principles.

In our dynamic team, belonging to UniCredit Infrastructure & Services – ICT Release & Change team, there are also special focus on Test Environment Management and Data Refresh execution and related application maintenance and performance monitoring at Global Level.

The specialist is adept in automation (see detai below), monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Zabbix, Prometheus), SLA management, virtualization (VMware), and according with the area mission also familiarity with ITIL frameworks showcases a commitment to industry best practices in IT service management.

Key task and responsibilities:

• Perform Monitoring activities and related communication/information collection and sharing about Central Test Environment ambitos.
• Governance support during Data Refresh and Data Masking execution
• Participate in meeting and contribute to software analysis, design, and cost estimation.
• Define interfaces and develop software components to meet functional requirements.
• Collaborate with the Solution Architect to plan work step for efficiency.
• Design, implement and maintain Perl-based applications in DataRrefresch application tools (MF based)
• End-to-end responsibility throughout the software development life cycle (including development, testing, deployment and maintenance) according to UniCredit policies and guidelines
• Write technical documentation throughout the software development life cycle
• Certifications: Certifications in IT Service Management (e.g., ITIL Foundation) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Proven experience in a similar IT Service Management role, demonstrating a track record of successful incident and problem resolution.

Key tecnical qualification:

• z/OS operating system, JCL and z/OS utilities
• TSO, ISPF, DB2 and z/OS architecture fundamentals.
• Data management and SMF knowledge (sequential, partitioned, indexed, GDG).
• Knowledge of job batch execution phases.
• OPC – knowledge of basic concepts plus control (ability to list job chains in OPC and extract these from OPC)
• Dataset management and access methods (sequential, partitioned, indexed, GDG).
• Main job cards, EXEC, DD and associated parameters.
• Jobs execution and monitoring.
• LJCL - JCL management to execute the main utilities.
• SMS environment knowledge (data class, storage class, management class, storage group).
• SDSF management and recurring commands.
• BETA92/EJM
• DB2 environment fundamentals.
• Fundamentals of relational database and DB2 objects (e.g. tables, indexes, views).
• Structure and syntax of a SQL query.
• Operations and functions (e.g. SUM, AVG, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE).
• Accessing more than one table (e.g. JOIN, UNION, SUBSELECT).

Skills requested
:

• Proficient in using ITSM tools, with a focus on expertise in ServiceNow for optimizing IT services.
• Experience in incident and problem management using ticketing systems and diagnostic software.
• Understanding and practical application of change management processes and tools.
• Knowledge of configuration management databases (CMDB) and their role in tracking and managing IT assets.
• Familiarity with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience in managing services in a cloud environment.
• Understanding of IT security principles, including data protection, access control, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet) for task and process automation.
• Proficient in using monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Dynatrace, Zabbix, Prometheus) to proactively identify and address issues.
• Experience in defining, monitoring, and reporting on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure service performance meets standards.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) and containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for efficient resource utilization.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools to enhance collaboration between development and operations teams.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining knowledge bases and systems for efficient issue resolution and training.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices for service management.
