pportunity
We are looking for Java Developer/Engineer to produce scalable software solutions in the Payments Domain. You'll be part of an API cross-functional team which is mostly responsible for the integration Layer full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. This team is really the core switch for all Worldline Applications.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• You are responsible for performing technical impact analysis,
• You will have to understand the existing code/configuration/functionalities/business process/flows,
• You will perform effort estimation, develop code, change configuration,
• You will be responsible for unit testing, support integration/UAT/LuP testing
• You will write documentation [technical and functional] and be involved in support, support during go live.

Who Are We Looking For

• 5 years+ experience with Java 8 or greater.
• Strong experience in J2EE concepts, EJBs and any one of application server such as JBoss, WebSphere.
• Medior experience with Spring Boot & Apache Camel.
• Ability to unit test and write secure efficient code.
• Strong grasp of software design principles and patterns.
• Strong experience with iterative delivery using Scrum/Kanban/SAFe.
• Strong experience in DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline & use of Maven.
• Experience in any test automation tools and development metrics.
• Experience in enterprise web platform development with high volume and transactions.
• Strong experience in integration concepts – API design, REST and SOAP principles, message based mechanism, authentication and authorisation models = > strong knowledge about protocols like REST, HTTP, TLS, Apigee.
• Experience in any database technologies such Oracle, PostGres, NoSQL database. Also data modelling and writing complex SQLs.
• Experience in tools such as Git, GitLab and Maven.
• Experience in Dependecy track tools like SonarQube.
• Use JIRA and confluence (Atlassian Suite) as documenting tools.
• Product based mindset to software development.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, think creatively with attention to detail
• Experience with Springboot, microservices, cloud, SQL database persistence framework like JPA, Hibernate, OWASP security principles & PCA/DSS standards.
• Good grasp of security best practices.
• Knowledge and experience with Linux or Unix in general.
• Understanding of domestic and cross border payments concepts Ex: SEPA and SWIFT.
• Ability to make decision, provide direction, manage stakeholders, influence outcome, identify risks/issues, manage technology debts, share knowledge, collaborate, create content, and mentor developers.
• English is a must and French language a huge plus
