This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Mioveni , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain's other sites.

What you will do?
This role ensures that all materials and components required for the final production runs are sourced, purchased, and delivered on time, while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence risk.
The EOP Buyer acts as a key liaison between supply chain, production, engineering, and suppliers to coordinate the smooth phase-out of parts and products.
• Supplier and Performance Management: Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives (identify cost-saving opportunities), select best suppliers from panel base, develop specific after sales strategies and solutions, secure delivery for final customers (Vehicles of Road, Backorders ).
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and propose preventive measures. Assist in developing contingency plans to mitigate risks related to raw materials, electronic components, geopolitical issues, and financial matters. What we are looking for?
What we're looking for
• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Mechanical Engineering.
• From 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of direct procurement or end of production commodity management, preferable in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Business English, any other language is nice to have.
• Knowledge of procurement and after sales systems, MS Office and cost analysis tools.
• Knowledge of regional global market dynamics.
• Solution oriented person.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
