What the role offers:

As a Lead QA Developer, you will:

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the software development process and SDLC, utilizing tools like Jira or Trello to enhance team efficiency.
• Take ownership of quality assurance aspects, driving process improvements for shorter release cycles and higher quality, possibly using CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Lead and manage diverse team members to ensure high-quality project releases, encouraging early and frequent testing with appropriate test coverage.
• Monitor testing progress, analyze schedule risks, and communicate findings using collaboration tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams.
• Lead teams with varied backgrounds and technical experiences, reviewing designs and requirements to ensure testability, potentially using collaborative platforms like Confluence.
• Develop high-level test strategies and plans, incorporating end-to-end testing with tools like Selenium or JUnit, and providing comprehensive test summary reports for risk assessment and project/release details.

What you need to succeed:

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Information Systems

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, Appium, Robot Framework)
• Strong scripting/programming in Go, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, CI/CD (Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI), and certificate management
• Proficiency in object-oriented design and software architecture
• Familiar with Agile and DevOps practices
• Experience in cybersecurity or SIEM domains
• Knowledge of SASL/SCRAM, Helm, Rancher Kubernetes
• Exposure to IAM tools across cloud platforms
• Test data management for comprehensive coverage and integrity
• Cloud-based testing (AWS Device Farm, Sauce Labs)
• AI/ML testing tools , Applitools, Mabl, Testim, Functionize, TestProject, Diffblue Cover, Eggplant AI)
