How you will contribute
  • Manage the calculation and reconciliation of RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets) for credit risk, large exposures, and related parties, at individual and consolidated levels, under Standardized and IRB approaches;
  • Calculate RWA for other risks (excluding market and liquidity) for Pillar II purposes and support impact analysis and stress testing;
  • Support development and maintenance of methodologies and tools for calculations, forecasting, and reporting;
  • Report capital adequacy indicators (regulatory and internal) to NBR (COREP), Erste Group, and management;
  • Monitor RWA evolution, propose optimization measures, and analyze stress test results.
  • Coordinate integrated stress testing exercises (STEP), including scenario selection, data consistency, and reporting;
  • Prepare the Risk Appetite Report, Crisis Response Plan, and aggregated reports (ICAAP, Pillar III, Basel II, Annual Report);
  • Collaborates and communicates effectively with other units within the bank and other teams involved in the IRB Program.
What will help you be successful
  • University degree in Economics, Finance, or Statistics;
  • Minimum 3 years in a relevant field (risk management, regulatory reporting, or banking);
  • Solid understanding of the banking sector and Basel II & III frameworks (RWA, Risk Parameters, ICAAP), as well as NBR regulations;
  • Analytical Skills: Basic knowledge of statistics and risk modeling;
  • Advanced level of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook);
  • Nice to Have: SAS, SQL, VBA (considered a plus);
  • Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
