Database Administrator

, or other systems.We are looking for you to strengthen our team and help us shape our diverse database environment to be even more future-proof and high-performing.

Your Responsibilities:

• Administering and managing our database systems with a focus on IBM Db2
• Performing installations, migrations, and upgrades to ensure smooth operations
• Designing and implementing high-availability database solutions
• Developing scripts to automate recurring tasks and improve operational processes
• Maintaining technical documentation and actively sharing knowledge within the team
• Contributing to architectural decisions for the further development of our database landscape and infrastructure
• Working closely with internal and external project teams and contributing your expertise to international projects

Your Profile:

• A degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or a comparable qualification
• Solid knowledge in administering IBM Db2 (version 11.5 or higher), including HADR, TSAMP, "native encryption," and Federation
• Ideally, experience with at least one other database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
• Structured way of working according to ITIL; ITIL4 certification is a plus
• Confident communication skills in German and English
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty on a fair rotation basis with your team
