Role Description

  • This is a full-time role for an Associate (fully qualified lawyer) in Dispute Resolution - with an experience between 2 to 4 years of experience since Bar admission, with a solid foundation in business law. You are skilled in delivering legal advice and support on pre-litigation matters, transactional work, and litigation cases across various business sectors.
  • The Associate will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to dispute resolution cases, including legal research, drafting legal documents, assisting clients in court proceedings, and client communication. The role also involves pre-litigation assistance in non-commercial matters, such as those derived from employment law (e.g. preliminary disciplinary investigations).
  • This role is based in our office conveniently located in central Bucharest, Romania.

Qualifications

  • Robust knowledge of dispute resolution procedures and legal principles
  • Experience in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Team-player and ability to handle competing demands, self-motivated and diligent
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Fluency in English (at least an advanced knowledge of legal English) and Romanian
  • Previous experience in a business law firm is a plus
  • Law degree from an accredited university and certified as fully qualified attorney
