Introduction:

*Please note that this is a maternity cover role*

Due to upcoming maternity leave we are looking for a candidate for the role of Senior Business Analyst. As a Senior Business Analyst you will be responsible for part of the management reporting, working with business leaders to provide forecast updates and reports and conduct in-depth analysis for tactical and strategic decision making. Using Excel, Power BI, AI tools, you will provide reports and analysis to key business leaders.

As part of the continuous improvement program you are keen to further enhance and improve our financial management reporting. interested to explore how we can improve the efficiency in our process with AI-tools and explore the possibilities of AI predictive models to support the forecasting process.

Responsibilities:

• Provide weekly and monthly financial reports to business leaders and executives
• Provide weekly status updates on the outlook against the quarterly (re)forecast and budget, compared to the last year's performance
• Support the business to come to a reliable budget and (re)forecast based on data-analysis
• Perform in-dept analysis on ad-hoc basis to support tactical and strategic decision-making
• As part of the continuous improvement program in collaboration with other team members move remaining excel based reporting into PowerBI. Further enhance the reporting with for example visuals and dashboards to make it more insightful.
• As part of a multi-disciplinary team explore how we can adopt AI solutions to create efficiencies in the process as well as implementing these solutions.
• Explore, piloting and implementing Predictive Analysis models (AI) to support the business to get to a more reliable forecast.
• With support of the Knowledge and Development team create presentations and trainings and present to the relevant audience when required.
• Good collaboration with other team members in the Business Finance team, wider Finance team and other members of the organization to achieve our joint objectives.

Your Profile:

• Passionate about providing the business with financial insights to achieve business objectives
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Reporting and Analytics roles in a Finance department
• Strong analytical and modelling skills
• Excellent knowledge in Excel
• Good knowledge in Power BI
• Interested to learn about and explore possibilities of AI
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Fluent in English
• Pro-active mindset and drive to improve and further develop
