SwapAgent Java Test Automation Developer
Overview
SwapAgent is an LSEG service designed to simplify the processing, margining and settlement of non-cleared derivatives. SwapAgent benefits from LCH's expertise in serving and managing risk for the cleared Rates and FX derivatives market, providing market participants with several solutions designed to materially improve standardisation, efficiency and simplicity in the non-cleared derivatives market.

The Role
We are looking for a Test Automation Developer to join SwapAgent IT Development team based in London. The candidate must have a Computer Science orientated degree and proven Java development skills. They will work on delivery of projects, carry out enhancements and provide support on a highly critical system. May be required to provide O/N support.

Required Skills And Experience.

• 2+ years proven experience in server-side Java Development JDK11+ is a must.
• Some knowledge of Cucumber and Test Automation
• Good knowledge of technologies i.e. JMS over MQ, Spring Boot, Camel, Linux.
• Provisioning and Build tools including Git/GitLab.
• Implementing automated testing and unit tests.
• Exposure to Test Driven Development and adhere to best practices.
• Excellent team player.
• Highly pragmatic and delivery focused, "can do" attitude.
• Takes ownership for delivery and is a self-starter.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with working with FPML/XML and JAXB would be an advantage.
• Postgres database knowledge.
• React/Angular/Typescript.
• JIRA

Responsibilities

• Ability to think through the requirements and provide thorough analysis, design & development
• Timely delivery of developments to a high standard and quality
• Provide support to the internal teams where necessary to promote the changes to Production successfully
• Provide good documentation.
