Role Description

The EON QA Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise office network solutions. This new position focuses on defining test strategies, supporting the execution of test plans, and supporting automation initiatives to validate network performance, security, and interoperability across large-scale enterprise environments.

Qualifications


• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and acceptance criteria for enterprise network products and services.


• Support the Execution of functional, performance, and security testing on network hardware and software components.


• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure requirements are testable and meet the company and quality standards.


• Implement and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.


• Document and report test results, defects, and recommendations to stakeholders.


• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and tools with the wider quality engineering team.

Required Qualifications:


• Degree in Computer Science, Networking, or equivalent experience.


• Hands-on experience in QA for enterprise networks (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN).


• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).


• Familiarity with network testing tools (e.g. IXIA)


• Experience with automation frameworks and scripting (e.g. Python) - nice to have

Preferred Qualifications:


• Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP or equivalent).


• Experience with cloud networking and hybrid environments.


• Understanding of network security principles and compliance standards.
