Role Purpose
Leads quality control tests and analysis of outcomes in a software development life cycle to ensure technology solutions meet or exceed business and customer needs. This is an opportunity for someone with proven, hands-on experience leading quality assurance in a relevant domain.
Role Responsibilities
- Develops testing programmes throughout the entire technologies' lifecycles that address areas such as functionality, compatibility, reliability and usability
- Leads a wide range of quality control planning and execution activities in alignment with the organisation's standards and strategy to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified business and customer needs
- Gathers testing requirements by evaluating the product requirement specifications (functional / non-functional) and raise clarifications with product owners, business analysts and customers.
- Handle test scripts/cases autonomously– manual, automation, performance, and supporting analysis. Assigns required tests to Associates
- Owns the ongoing maintenance of customer technologies, resolving the issues and calling out where vital.
- Recommends and supports the implementation of improvements to quality control frameworks, processes and best practices
- Builds trusting relationships with team and colleagues, collaborating closely with the team
- Communicates clearly with team and keeps clear lines of communication open to ensure full understanding of tasks, asking questions where needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the software industry, including hands-on work with software quality frameworks using Java or Python.
- ISTQB Core Foundation Certified or equivalent
- Exhibits good knowledge in software quality assurance processes and
- Exhibits good experience in manual, test automation or performance testing
- Exhibits good experience in the software development life cycle and one programming language, preferably in multi-tiered applications.

Guiding the team to ensure a product/service meets or exceeds specified standards and objectives to achieve desired level of quality.
Test framework development / test scripting:-
Guiding the team in developing, maintaining test framework and test scripts, demonstrates creativity and innovation using available software testing tools.
In-depth/breadth tech expertise:-
In depth technical expertise, knowledge of technologies and design, development and implementation of technologies related to role.
Problem solving:-
Defines a problem, generates solutions, and evaluates and identifies the best solution to overcome the problem.
Communication:-
Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex / technical information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.
Documentation:-
Creates and maintains documentation to describe the system functionalities, testing requirements, framework design decisions, architecture of the test framework, test strategy, etc.
