Senior Software Test Automation Engineer
with a passion for delivering quality software solutions. You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment and engage in the d esign, development and execution of automated testing, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and present and share ideas through global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Automate tests using test frameworks (Selenium, Playwright) and C#
• Write moderately complex code/scripts to test systems
• Create test harnesses and infrastructure
• Create (or assist in) test plan and/or test strategy
• Participate in all aspects of quality initiatives, such as creating executable specifications, UI automation, etc.
• Make technical decisions and collaborate with test strategists to implement a comprehensive automation strategy
• Participate in code reviews, requirements and design specification reviews. Provide constructive feedback regarding best practices, performance, and maintainability
• Assess test quality, coverage, and team's automation maturity by collecting key metrics
• Stay ahead of the curve with respect to new technologies and techniques with an eye towards continual improvement of both the team's skill set and automation strategy
• Drive adoption of continuous integration and delivery methodologies and frameworks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher (or equivalent) in science, computing engineering subjects
• Experience working in a software development environment.
• Experience writing maintainable test cases (feature based, declarative style, clear, concise etc)
• Experience with Gherkin and executable specifications (desired)
• Experience in development and automation of Web Services API testing
• Experience in the preparation and execution of automation test scripts using Selenium and Cypress
• Experience in the preparation and execution of automation test scripts using Playwright (desired)
• Solid understanding of how and when to apply different types of testing, such as functional, non-functional, integration, regression, or performance testing, depending on the requirements
• Solid understanding of how and when to apply different levels of testing, such as unit, integration, system, or end to end
