An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Buyer
to join our Lantmännen Unibake team at our bakery in
Pantelimon, Ilfov.
Reporting to Procurement Manager, you will act as a focal point for supplier management, tendering and contracting for relevant materials within Lantmannen Unibake Romania.

This Is What You Will Do

  • Build a professional long-term relationship with suppliers;
  • Ensure availability of raw materials and stock analysis, on a continuous basis;
  • Acquire and prepare input data for RFx/tendering process;
  • Implement new suppliers and raw materials items, in liaison with relevant stakeholders;
  • Negotiate contractual conditions; draft and close contracts with suppliers, in line with internal procedures;
  • Provide budget/forecast for material prices and price levels assumptions for the main good & services categories;
  • Manage suppliers' complaints;
  • Ensure compliance with standards, controls, policies and guidelines;
  • Drive Cost Saving Initiative / Value Engineering activities to gain cost reduction/avoidance (eg. diminish scrapping cost)

This Is What You Need To Succeed

  • University Degree
  • Fluent in Romanian and English
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an FMCG company
  • Good knowledge of applying contracts/contract law
  • Good skills in financial analysis and risk management.
  • Good knowledge and experience of working with key MS Office packages and ERP (Microsoft AX would be an advantage)
