The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Marketing Cloud solutions for clients. This includes gathering requirements, designing scalable solutions, implementing configurations, and providing ongoing support and optimization. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in the Marketing Cloud platform and a strong understanding of marketing automation, data management, and digital marketing best practices.

What you'll do:
  • Solution design and implementation: Lead the technical design, configuration, and implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including its various modules such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.
  • Requirements gathering: Conduct discovery workshops with clients and stakeholders to understand marketing goals, customer journeys, and business processes to define and document system requirements.
  • Data management and segmentation: Develop and manage complex data models and segmentation strategies using SQL and other tools within the platform. Ensure data integrity, data quality, and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Campaign execution: Build, test, and deploy multi-channel marketing campaigns, including personalized emails, SMS messages, and push notifications, using content building tools.
  • Integration: Implement and maintain integrations between SFMC and other platforms, including Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud and third-party systems.
  • Analytics and optimization: Analyze campaign performance metrics, provide actionable insights, and make recommendations for optimization through A/B testing and reporting.
  • Training and documentation: Develop and deliver training to client marketing teams to ensure user adoption and platform proficiency. Create and maintain clear technical documentation.
Key skillsets:
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, Developer, or Administrator.
  • Working knowledge of the Salesforce platform and how this integrates and interacts with Marketing Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with core SFMC tools, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Content Builder.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategy, campaign execution, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant, are strongly preferred.
Nice to have:
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field is a plus.
  • Preferred proficiency with AMPscript and HTML/CSS for dynamic and personalized content.
  • Familiarity with integration methods, including Marketing Cloud Connect.
