Site Service Engineer

we are hiring a
Site Service Engineer
in Romania who will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of ventilation and air filtration systems at client sites. This role ensures optimal system performance, customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Please note that this position includes frequent travel to clients sites. The preferred location in Romania is the Arad / Timisoara area. We are open to both experienced professionals and entry-level candidates with relevant background who would like to start a career in our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleanroom validations/re-qualifications

• Undertake full HVAC testing of cleanrooms, critical healthcare areas, pharmacy aseptic suite environments in accordance with ISO 14644, EUGMP & FS209.
• Preparation of validation reports and protocols.

Installation & Commissioning

• Install and commission HVAC, ventilation, and air filtration systems according to design specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct system testing and performance verification.

Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance checks/surveys on installed systems (HVAC AHUs, Gas turbine intakes, Dust extraction systems and all other ventilation systems).
• Replace filters, motors, fans, and any other components if needed.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
• Troubleshoot system issues and implement effective solutions.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and logs and document system performance and customer feedback.

Customer Interaction

• Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and solutions and train them on system operation and basic maintenance.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Follow company protocols for health, safety, and environmental practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong understanding of ventilation system components and their operation. Knowledge of industrial air filtration (HVAC, APC, Gas turbines, etc.), cleanroom standards and holding CTCB-I, ICCCS or equivalent certifications would be a plus.
• Background in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred
• Experience with energy efficiency and sustainability practices would be a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals, experience with diagnostic tools and software
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to client sites
• Full driving license
• Preferably English-speaking, at least B1 level
