The Role

Do you like helping others? Crescendo is looking for talented folks to join our Customer Support team. We have a range of opportunities available for people who have built a career in the customer support space and those looking to break into the industry. We are interested in matching your unique skills, experience, and interests with one of our many Partners across a variety of industries including Edtech, eCommerce, Fintech, Health and Wellness, and more. As a Crescendo employee, you'll have the support you need to develop and grow your career.

We're currently looking for a dynamic, well-versed Fraud Check Support to provide the customers of a German B2C gaming marketing company with outstanding support.

Our Fraud Check Support team is an expert in all areas of document investigation. They thrive in dynamic and flexible environments, take ownership of our partners' brand, product, and opportunities, and use their creative problem-solving abilities to go above and beyond expectations.

What You'll Do:

  • Payment Review & Decisioning: Diligently review and process user payout requests, holding the authority to Approve or Decline payout requests based on comprehensive fraud risk assessment protocols.
  • Trend Identification & Reporting: Proactively monitor user activity and transaction patterns to identify and raise potential fraudulent trends for the internal investigation team, contributing directly to long-term risk strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Support team to efficiently handle and resolve relevant tickets that require specialized fraud context or intervention.
  • Insight & Findings Reporting: Compile and report detailed insights and findings related to fraud activity, chargebacks, and trends to our internal operations team and key stakeholders.
  • Shift Planning & Allocation: At the beginning of every shift, you will be responsible for creating a task allocation guide, ensuring all active partner brands and queues are adequately covered by a designated person within the team.
  • Operational Flexibility: Be prepared to handle additional tasks as identified necessary by the partner, adapting to evolving business needs and risk mitigation strategies.

What We Expect From You:

  • Based in Romania
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an affinity for numbers and data.
  • 1-2 years of general work experience (experience in fraud management is a plus, but not essential).
  • Quick learning ability, confidence in handling basic Excel functions (data manipulation, simple formulas), and proven ability to work independently.
  • Availability: Must have flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, which will be provided with enough advance notice. Weekend shifts are consistent as part of the rotation.
  • Interest: Enthusiasm for mobile games and online commerce topics is a strong advantage.

What You'll Get In Return:

  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Attractive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision options based on location
  • Access to free posture-based fitness workouts from home
  • Paid Sabbatical Leave
  • Training opportunities provided by Crescendo and outside entities
  • 1-on-1 coaching with feedback sessions, mentorship, and opportunities for cross-functional development
