What you'll doThe Head of VBTS is playing a pivotal role in providing complex fixed communications & IT solutions to our Enterprise customers, covering critical aspects of the sell, build and run cycle and enable the growth and success of Vodafone Business. Reporting directly to the Head of VBTS for the cluster markets and dotted line to Vodafone Business Unit (VBU) Director.
This position involves both strategic and operational roles, contributing to regional and local growth strategies. Responsibilities include overseeing fixed services, managing the delivery of Managed Services, Cloud, ICT, and IoT projects across the revenue streams of Vodafone Business in the local market, with a goal of supporting approximately 15,000 customers.
More specifically the role will require to make an impact to Romanian business landscape – a unique in the sense of one of the biggest across EU cluster in terms of fixed, ICT and IoT solutions, cloud products and Managed Services, with a complex set of products, infrastructure, and solutions.
- Influence and drive strategic decisions within Business/Technology to align with capabilities, challenges, and opportunities.
- Work with VBU director and wider VBPS to define optimal strategy for each product area and be in control of third parties for the cases where product definition / delivery / support is via 3rd party companies – ensuring people and skills agility.
- Work with VBU director and VBPS products teams to define the optimal setup for local customers' requirements and local environmental factors always delivering on time utilising a full network of resources from VBU, VBTS and NW teams.
- Lead people with excellent abilities to clearly communicate strategy and vision, creating the conditions for their execution, and get the team (VBTS and VBU) together to work effectively towards common goal.
- Lead organizational design and transformational journey to build expertise in new product areas identifying the best approach with a mix of on-shoring, off-shoring and 3rd parties, sharing best practice and being a team player at regional level.
- Identify, define and drive digital initiatives to reduce ineffectiveness and improve customer satisfaction during delivery and support
- Deliver Technical solution & service design/transition for all portfolio's, as per customer contract.
- Manage the operational relationship with the partner, ensuring maximum value creation and mitigating operational risk.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- Ability to align Business and Technology Strategies. Deep commercial understanding.
- Extensive people management, financial management and planning skills
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple and competing priorities.
- Proactive problem-solving ability with solutions-oriented attitude
- Detailed knowledge of Vodafone services, operational KPI's and processes and an in depth understanding of their relationship to the customer experiences.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
In depth experience of influencing and shaping business strategy
- IT & Telecoms background
- Experience of managing large-scale business planning and delivery activities
- Experience of managing Enterprise customers
- IT Engineering or IT Integrator background will be considered as a plus
